This winter, the English class at Make the Road New Jersey incorporated grammar with discussing the impact the pandemic was having on immigrant communities in New Jersey. The class decided to participate in the Recovery for All advocacy effort by writing and sending a letter to Governor Murphy. The mini-curriculum that resulted can be found here.
