This is an ongoing story that I am completing with my class. Each chapter ends with a cliffhanger and some questions that are up for interpretation. I use students’ responses to craft the next chapter. For each class meeting, I typically start with a dictation (using the first paragraph or a few sentences), then students take turns reading the story out loud. At the end we discuss the questions.
