The first meeting of the Critical Teaching and Learning Forum Online Study Group will take place on December 5th, from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We will be reading and discussing the first two chapters of Rethinking Education, by Adam Unwin and John Yandell. For each chapter we will begin by having a facilitator share some initial thoughts and then turn to questions to the facilitator will pose.

The study group is free, but you need to register. Once you do you’ll get information about how to connect and participate.

This is an experiment, so the first few sessions may be a bit awkward. However, our goal is to create as much interaction as possible. In large part, this will consist of speaking with each other, but it also may include texting other members of the group directly.  In that way, side-bar conversations will not be seen as problematic. At the end of the session we will ask for feedback about how to modify the format to make it more productive.
